How do I play Platytag with friends?

Tap Platytag, type your name, and tap Create game. Share the 4-letter room code with your friends. They tap Platytag, enter the code, and tap Join. When everyone is in, the host taps Start game. Rooms hold 2 to 10 players.

Why can't I connect to Platytag?

Platytag is played online, so every player needs an internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular). Double-check the room code, and make sure the host is still in the room. Pug and Seek works without internet.

How does Pug and Seek work?

It's pass-and-play for two people on one device. The first player hides their pug anywhere in the house, then hands over the phone so the platypus can search.

How do I leave a round early?

Tap Menu in the top-left corner, then Leave game.

How long is a round?

In Platytag, pugs get a 15-second head start. If any pugs are still free after 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the pugs win.

Does Platypug have ads or need an account?

Platypug currently has no ads, and it never needs an account or sign-up. See our Privacy Policy for details.
